Not the best Day,but not that bad

I started the day with a little fighting and discussion, just to gain some focus.I was sure that my mood was too sour for my weekly knitting group... pulled myself together and went.I should have stayed home. Group knitting or knitting while in a group can only be productive if THE WHOLE GROUP  understands that you knit and are respectful of the flow. The flow is important because we are all knitting different patterns, some needing more concentration. Talking during lulls in the knitting is fine, that is flow. Talking constantly and needing recognition of said talking interrupts the flow and then MISTAKES happen. I came home after two hours, then, spent the afternoon  UN KNITTING. I got things back on track.
D#4 called to tell me about an assignment that she completed and was excited about. D#4 is a senior at a very prestigious University in CA. I got excited about her work too,she sent a picture  to my email. I'm proud of all work done and goals reached by my children and their friends too.
I got a call from D#2 this afternoon also, hashed over current events and had a nice conversation. D#5, a freshman at a prestigious instate university is home for the weekend, maybe we will go to see Tropic Thunder tomorrow.
I really hit the wall with the pets today, the cats sneeze and beg for food and the dog nips me and begs for food. I really hope that they outgrow some of the behaviors that I find exhausting. After dinner I watched Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. My kind of movie, I loved it.
